Suggestions & Details -

Wear comfortable clothing.

Bring a couple of medium to large sized towels and lots of rope.

More and varied the merrier.

Don't forget your safety scissors.

Some suggestions of rope you might want to bring: - 4 pieces of 12 feet rope - 4 pieces of 25, 30 or 35 feet rope - Thin cord such as parachute cord or thin cotton cord - Nylon, cotton, pre-treated hemp, jute, poly and all are great. Avoid climbing rope.

Midori will have some pre-treated Japanese hemp rope, the book "Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage" and prints of her rope bondage art for sale if you're interested.

Fetish Diva Midori

For those of you that have been living under a rock, here is Midori's Bio:

Author of the book 'The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage', Midori is an educator and writer on SM, fetish and human sexuality. Midori travels the world presenting to university, undergraduate clubs, SM clubs, and the general public.

Raised in a feminist intellectual Tokyo household, she holds a degree in psychology from the U.C. Berkeley. She has written for many publications and books including, 'Readings in Contemporary Sexuality', 'The Beauty of Fetish' and many regular magazine columns.

Her work has appeared on HBO BBC, Mademoiselle, Playboy, Der Spiegel, Wired, British Esquire, Vogue, Surface and many more. Among many recognitions, she is also the Pantheon of Leather Woman of the Year 2003 and Member of Mama's Family.

She is currently working on three new books, including a collection of her essays and a collection of her erotic science fiction stories.

DeLano

His love affair with bondage began at a very early age (you wouldn't believe what his "action figures" had to endure when he was a kid) but he only consummated that affair seven years ago. Since then he's been a frequent fixture (sometimes literally) in the New York fetish scene as a bondage bottom, performer, and model.

A true rope slut, DeLano is always ravenous for bondage. His Website has been active for six years and has been a veritable on-line photo diary of his adventures in bondage, with an increasing emphasis on his explorations in shibari. It has also afforded him the opportunity to play with some of the best Bondage Tops in the country, including Midori, Domina Skye, Mistress Alana, Mistress Yin and Bridgett Harrington.

DeLano co-moderates the Shibari Enthusiasts Yahoo group. He is a member of TES and has been involved with several presentations to their Bondage SIG. I attended Midori's Dojo in DC and can testify that it is worth every penny! It covers everything you could ask for and then some! I would strongly reccomend this class to anyone!
